Hello All Authors

Please find list of topics we want to cover in our magazine.

1. Interviews with ordinary - extraordinary peoples.
With people that have rare education background (e.g. atom reactor constructors) and working as kitchen porters, waiters, cleaners etc. If you need our help - a reporter or photographer - just let us know.

2. Cultural events.
Short notes from cultural shows, theatres, cinemas etc.

3. Movie reviews, theatres, concerts, exhibitions.

4. Hobbies, passions
Various things to do in Galway except working and drinking. Sports, photography - darkroom, movie making, sailing, sudoku, etc

5. Electronic novelties
Latest phones, MP3, car radios, toasters, microwaves, anything that you find useful in everyday life!

6. Travel
We will write short notes about places in Ireland from our experience.

Example:
Limerick - why would you? Unless you shop!
Short and to the point. The more descriptions we gather about one place it will be more interesting and differentiated.
Also long description of places that are either worth seeing or just overrated. We accept photos and videos.

9. Pubs, restaurants, cafes, useful places in Galway.

10. Fashion in Ireland

11. Crime stories or other stories in episodes.

12. Darwin’s rewards.
It is about short and interesting stories. Silly events, story about funny crimes.

13. Competitions - think the craziest competitions you can and/or the prizes - maybe we can do it.

14. Sport - Explain the rules of Irish and non irish games - in simple and easy way. Not the results.

15. Unique business ventures - both Irish and non Irish.

16. Subcultures - what is it? Perhaps you have friend that represents any subculture?

17. Useful information about different government agencies - where to deal with what?

18. Payroll lists. Compare different pays. Who, where, how much and why so low. Anonymously of course.

19. Interviews with characteristic peoples + photos.

20. Translation of those strange names of residential areas from Irish to English.
Whata hell is Doughiska or Ballybane in English?

If you have any idea what to write about above topics and you don’t have time let us know and we will arrange someone. We can also organise a photographer if you need one.
